engagement books.

i just got a few of these in and i thought i'd let you guys see what they look like. (this is the standard engagement book that comes with any of my e-sessions)in other news; for those of you who are loyal blog readers, you may have noticed that the server was down yesterday. well....it's fixed now. ps, i have three shoots and one massive wedding coming up as soon as i get a few minutes of free time...

spread the word.

ok guys, my winter isn't going to book itself ;) i still have some open dates in September, November, and December 2008 that I'm looking to fill.

If you or someone you know is getting married spread the word. If i don't fill these dates I may just have to spend my winter somewhere warm...

St. Augustine, FL

well, the title is a little deceiving. Sarah and I spent last week there hanging out on the beach but that's not really a place you want to take a $2000 camera and since i sold my point and shoot canon g9 i only got a few quick snapshots. here's my wifey waiting for gelati in this little shop in downtown.sarah being cool...me and my special lady friend...by the way, i'm looking into getting a cool wedding dress and doing a really fun kind of bridal shoot with Sarah...so...stay tuned. also; if anyone has seen a really cool dress out there or know's of a unique boutique, leave a link for me.

kathryn and neal

a candid moment with kathryn's dad before the ceremony...

neal and kathryn's wedding didn't start until 7pm so by the time it got out it was completely dark! so, we got to have some fun with flash photography

i have to give these guys some props; this was the first couple i've ever seen do the waltz for their first dance. it was pretty cool to see.

john and gracie

wow. BIG weekend come and gone. I'll be posting Kathryn and Neil's wedding in a few days. in the meantime, here are a few of my favorites from John and Gracie's engagement shoot yesterday. we had one hour, two outfits, and beautiful weather. if you want to see some more of their images check out their slideshow here

david + joleen

Sarah and I had a great time at this very intimate wedding. david and joleen have been together since they were kids and I rarely see two people who are so peaceful together. they were a joy to be with and a pleasure to photograph.

breakfast?

(a.k.a. the perks of being married)Everyone is an artist in their own way. I'm lucky to be married to someone whose art form is incredibly tasty. This may not look like anything out of the ordinary but it was maybe the best breakfast I've ever had. So...i decided to blog it.'Polenta' with sausage, feta, cilantro, and grated parmesan. Oh yeah, the second shot is the happy cook pretending she has no arms.

kathryn.

bridal shoot in Atlanta yesterday. Kathryn's wedding is coming up this weekend so stay tuned. Also, it's only April but I'm already getting behind on blogging....several more weddings coming up.....

Patrick & Sarah

For Easter this year, Sarah (Willoughby) and I visited her family in Michigan. We had a couple cold days to get out in the snow and take engagement pictures of her brother and his fiance, Sarah B. I'm sure I posted too many photos but I just couldn't help it. enjoy...
